ONIC is proud to announce that the members of the 2023 ONiC Community Leadership Institute (CLI) team includes the following Hollowbrook residents: Jacqueline Lorenzana, Marcia Neal, Jazmyne Dupree, and Esperanaza Ovalles (absent on certificate award luncheon). These individuals were selected as members because of their passion, belief, and commitment to community change. While many places shuttered in place during the pandemic, these residents worked in partnership with ONIC to administer services and resources to their fellow neighbors in the name of volunteerism.
Upon their return from the CLI hosted in Charlotte, NC, the Hollowbrook team was awarded with a certificate of completion as a certified Community leaders alongside their Resident Services Coordinator, Santiago Sarria. In attendance, were Resident Services staff, ONiC president Alfred Arzuaga, ONiC Resident Services Director Alexis Collins, and ONiC founder Robert E. Ansley. With a successful fall festival already completed, the CLI team is moving ahead with implementing activities for their CLI project of creating a safer community for their families and neighbors at Hollowbrook.
