Partnership Spotlight

Since November 2014, ONIC has partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to increase access to fresh and nutritious food in its communities. Through Bites, Camera, Action!, a monthly mobile food pantry, ONIC has distributed more than 10,500 food boxes and thousands of pounds of fresh produce and baked goods to its families. Second Harvest has been instrumental in helping ONIC families in crisis, most recently in providing more than 20,000 meals to kids and seniors through their Summer Food Service Program – when schools closed unexpectedly with the COVID-19 pandemic. ONIC families have also received support from Second Harvest’s newest initiative, Bringing Hope Home, through which families in need of nutrition assistance receive doorstep deliveries of perishable and non-perishable foods. In Second Harvest, ONIC has found a partner that truly never stops delivering hope.
